Magnus Hall, currently marketing dir., has been appointed pres. of the Holmen Paper business arm of the group. Hall is taking over for Goran Lundin, who is stepping down from the position after 12 years as business area pres. Lundin has been appointed exec. v.p. at Holmen AB, where he will be engaged in special projects on behalf of the pres. and CEO, Per Ericson. Ake Eklof has been named pres. of Holmen Kraft, which is now a separate business area. Eklof will report directly to Lundin. Anders Almgren has been appointed CFO and head of group finance. Almgren is taking over for Lennart Svensson, who is leaving to pursue other activities. Thommy Haglund has been appointed sr. v.p. and head of group human resources. Haglund is taking over for Ingalill Landfors,who is retiring.

TEMPLE-INLAND FOREST PRODUCTS CORP.
Gregory G. Engelken, 36, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, from injuries sustained in a fire at the company's particleboard plant in Mount Jewett. Engelken was complex mgr. at the Mount Jewett operation. James Covert, 39, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2001, from injuries related to the same incident. Covert was a maintenance technician at the particleboard facility.
