Filler sensor
The NDC Model 310 determines the filler (ash) content in paper. Roll protection
Badger Plug is offering a complete line of roll protection and suspension products. Single-unit plastic pad plugs are used to suspend small-to-medium sized rolls, while end boards with sleeve plugs are used for large roll applications. H-pack systems and double plugs provide a secure means to unitize and protect multiple roll shipments. Modular pad plugs with an interlocking design are an alternative to roll packaging.

Vibration data collector

Filtration systems
Filtrex industrial filtration systems use a proprietary filter media to resolve plating of scrubbers when weak wash is utilized as a neutralizing agent of chlorine oxide gases. These back-washable filters remove lime mud from weak wash and prevent plating of the scrubber plastic packing. The back-wash sludge is reintroduced into the white liquor tank, making the process completely automatic, with nothing going to waste and zero down-time for the scrubbers.

Laser/computer interface
Pinpoint has introduced a computer interface module called the DCU-100. The module enables measurements from the laser microgage to be recorded and analyzed on a PC or laptop. The DCU-100 is used to record the profiles and positions of roll assemblies. The microgage is available in a basic kit with add-on modules for roll and mill alignment, precision machine tool setting, flatness checking, leveling, and other applications.

pH/ORP sensors
Rosemount has announced the addition of the Model 389VP and 399VP pH/ORP sensors to the Variopol family of sensors. The availability of the Variopol connector option makes the sensors easier to install, service, and replace, which results in significant time and cost savings. The sensors feature new, quick sensor-to-cable release, provided by the watertight VP multiple-pin connector, eliminating cable twisting.

Thermal oxidizer
Glenro has introduced a direct-fired thermal oxidization system to eliminate VOCs from exhaust air streams. The system handles 21,000 scfm of air and includes both primary and secondary heat recovery subsystems. The system also includes an insulated air mixing enclosure for mixing the cleaned, oxidized exhaust air with room air to supply energy to the process oven.
