Transportation
O’Hare International Airport
Chicago O’Hare International Airport has one international terminal and three domestic terminals—connected to provide passengers a quick and easy connection. Use the Airport Transit System to transfer between the domestic terminals, the international terminal and economy parking lots. Airport information booths are located on the lower levels of the domestic terminals and on the upper and lower levels of the international terminal if you need further direction or assistance. A foreign currency exchange is located on the lower level of the international terminal.
Taxi Service
Taxicabs are available on a first come, first serve basis from the lower level curb-front of all terminals. Shared ride service is available. There are no flat rates because all taxicabs run on meters. Expect to spend approximately $40 (plus tolls) for a taxi ride to downtown Chicago.
Rental Cars at O'Hare
Rental car agencies are located on the lower level near the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1, 2, and 3. From Terminal 5, rental car agencies are located on the lower level. Many rental car agencies also offer courtesy buses to various automobile pick-up/drop-off areas.
