PPI AWARDS 2013
The PPI Awards were launched in 2009 by RISI, the leading information provider to the global forest products industry. Due to its success and popularity, it has evolved into an annual event.
The PPI Awards are the only global awards dedicated to recognizing the achievements of companies, mills and individuals in the pulp and paper sector. It provides a platform that honors the leadership, vision, innovation and strategic accomplishments within the industry.
The 2013 PPI Awards will take place alongside RISI's new Global Outlook Conference on December 11, 2013 at the Ritz-Carlton Financial Center in Dubai.
About the Awards
The PPI Awards provide an opportunity for pulp and papermakers worldwide to show off their achievements on a global platform. Companies entering the PPI Awards may submit entries online for one or more categories. Entries will be reviewed by an international panel of independent judges, and finalists will be invited to attend the gala dinner and awards presentation where winners from each category will be revealed. Winners will be presented with trophies by the sponsor of each category and a celebrity host.
The PPI Awards gala dinner attracts attendees from various parts of the supply chain and includes financial analysts, suppliers, pulp and paper producers, marketing agencies, consultants, international press and associations. The evening provides excellent networking opportunities and access to high level guests from around the world.
Who judges the entries?
An international panel of judges, made up of industry experts, selects the finalists and winners. RISI selects these judges based on their relevant expertise in the industry and each judge is assigned to one or more panels.
The independent judges use a strict criteria list to look at each category and discuss the merits of all of the short listed entries individually.
Sponsors of the PPI Awards 2013 are not involved with the judging process.
Who should attend?
Everyone who has an interest in the pulp and paper industry is welcome to join the PPI Awards ceremony and dinner. Participants are also welcome to join the RISI Seminar in the afternoon. Whether you were a supplier, consultant, producer, marketing agency, association or financial analyst, the PPI Awards is a must-attend event this year.
