RISI Industry Jobs - Sales & Account Representative/Manager


RISI is the leading information provider for the global forest products industry. Our mission is to create the highest quality information for and about the global forest products industry and deliver it to customers as part of value-added solutions. RISI employs over 25 journalists, 20 full-time economists, 8 engineers and 6 data specialists in offices throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.


Located in our Brussels office, the Sales/Account Manager is responsible for selling corporate subscriptions for all RISI information products to prospects in Europe. RISI's services include global industry news, price reports, data products, forecasts and benchmarking services. He/She will manage a first-year quota selling to existing clients and developing new business within target sectors.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Achieve targets for new sales

  • Incremental growth and account management of existing accounts

  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction

  • Provide valuable feedback into the product/business development process

Desired Skills:

  • Eagerness to learn and understand customer needs

  • Fluent in English and at least one other language

  • Previous professional experience of selling professional services

  • Excellent presentation and communications skills

  • Must be self-motivated and have an entrepreneurial spirit

Desired Education:

  • Economics and/or Business
