Analyze pulp & paper mills for manufacturing cost estimates; Assist in production of benchmarking studies; Provide assistance in completion of single-client studies; Develop contacts/relationships with customers & other industry sources; Assist product managers in sourcing and developing unit cost data

Position Summary:
We seek an experienced Benchmarking Analyst who will play an important role in the smooth release of our new Benchmarking software. The ideal candidate is well versed in Pulp and Paper Engineering with good project management skills. The candidate chosen for this newly created position will help to test, train, and provide sales support for the new benchmarking tool in our Atlanta, GA office and will report to the VP of Mill Intelligence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Mill Analysis and Mass & Energy Balances
- Assist the Mill intelligence group in smooth release of new version of Benchmarking software (Analytical Cornerstone).
- Deal effectively with Clients, provide superlative customer service,and communicate well with clients and co-workers.
- Occasional travel may be required
Skills Sets Required:
- Knowledge of Pulp and Paper Mill Operations
- Analytical Skills: Modeling, Statistics, and Managing Data
- Strong Communication Skills, both Oral and Written.
- Ability to work independently or on a team.
- High level of professionalism, strong leadership skills, and the ability to learn new concepts quickly in a diverse environment.
- Good public speaking and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
