Job Description

We are a Boston-based company looking for a web producer to contribute to the growth of our web products. The producer will help to maintain content and data, and will coordinate delivery, releases and QA of new web based products. RISI serves an international commodities-based industry whose products are primarily subscription-based business information reports. These data-intensive reports serve all facets of the industry, including producers, suppliers and investors. The company is in the process of migrating many of its traditional print-based products to a suite of data services and productivity tools.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for uploading and ensuring the accuracy of newly released content.
• Will perform updates and changes to product configuration as requested.
• Is required to work to tight deadlines.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with web content management systems, Alfresco a plus.
• Strong HTML experience and exposure to web based systems and concepts.

General Requirements

• Good task management skills with the ability to work in a team environment in situations in which ambiguity and multiple priorities are likely.
• Excellent written communication skills are important as the organization is highly distributed.
• BS/BA or equivalent education experience.
• A high task load is expected. You should be able to work within tight deadlines while exhibiting exemplary time management and task prioritization.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and professionalism in the workplace.
