Located in Bedford, MA, the corporate headquarters, the Inside Sales Representative's region will cover the globe with primary focus on North America. You will be responsible for making outbound calls and fielding incoming sales opportunities, qualifying and proactively targeting growth opportunities.
Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing RISI's business relationships with customers in a team setting. Major goals include business revenue protection and growth, retention of existing subscription business, identification of cross-selling and up-selling opportunities, and highly responsive client service. Specific measurable goals are established on an annual basis.
Core Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospects; qualify and convert new business.
- Effectively use sales and retention techniques to ensure that existing business is renewed each year.
- Understand product strengths and functionality in sufficient depth to qualify prospects by phone.
- Respond to lead generation and marketing efforts.
- Identify, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities from existing client base.

- Must be articulate and personable on the phone in addition to possessing strong writing skills for professional communications.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and web browsers.
- College Degree (2 or 4 year).
