Leading Chinese household paper association sponsors tissue world china, announces co-location of its fall conference
BRUSSELS, May 7, 2004 - Paperloop, Inc. organizers of Tissue World China (TWC), announced that the China National Household Paper Industry Association (CNHPIA) will sponsor the inaugural event at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC), December 1-3, 2004. In addition, the CNHPIA will host its bi-annual conference alongside Tissue World China.
According to Ria Van den Bogaert, Tissue World Show Director, CNHPIA's support will provide several benefits and ensure the presence of more than 5,000 tissue and paper professionals from throughout China. "As the leading paper associations in China, CNHPIA's involvement in Tissue World China will add significant value to attendees," Van den Bogaert stated. "The CNHPIA Conference will provide tissue professionals with the opportunity to discover all the latest trends and insights from leading industry experts in the seminars and then experience the new technologies first-hand on the show floor."
CNHPIA will also market the show extensively through its network of members and the support of leading Chinese publications -- Tissue Paper & Disposable Products, China Pulp & Paper, China Paper Newsletter, Paper & Papermaking. The event will be promoted through Paperloop's many worldwide publications, newsletters and websites, including Tissue World, Pulp & Paper, and Pulp & Paper International magazines. In addition, publications will run advertisements to promote the show in Australia, Japan, India and South East Asia.
Show organizers said there has been tremendous worldwide interest in the exposition since it was first announced last September because the Asian market accounts for more than one third of global paper and board demand -- a greater share than both North American and West European markets. Moreover, both tissue usage rates and capacity in the Far East are growing steadily and are expected to increase by at least 4 percent per year going forward.
Tissue World China 2004 is expected to feature close to 100 exhibitors showcasing their latest equipment and technologies to more than 5,000 attendees from throughout the Far East region. The biennial event was created to keep tissue makers, converters, traders, analysts, distributors, buyers, suppliers and other decision makers updated on the most recent advancements in the tissue marketplace.
