Paperloop announces editorial promotions at Pulp & Paper and PPI


BEDFORD, Mass., March 2, 2005 - Paperloop today announced promotions within its magazine editorial group.


Graeme Rodden has been named director of Magazine Editorial, responsible for managing the global editorial efforts at both Pulp & Paper and PPI. Rodden joined Paperloop in 2001 as European editorial director and editor of PPI. With 25 years of experience in the forest products sector, Rodden has also held senior editorial positions at Pulp & Paper Canada as well as several other North American industry publications. Justin Toland, formerly PPI features editor, has been promoted to role of editor, PPI.


Monica Shaw continues as editor of Pulp & Paper, which she joined in 1996. She will lead the magazine's editorial efforts, drawing from Paperloop's worldwide content such as Pulp & Paper Week, RISI and Paperloop Benchmarking Services. Kelly Ferguson, VP of Editorial, has stepped down after seventeen years in various editorial positions at Pulp & Paper.


Rhiannon James-van Beuningen has assumed the newly created role of VP of Editorial Products. Formerly director of Product Development at Paperloop, James-van Beuningen joined the company in 1998 and has held various editorial positions, including editor of PPI and director of Online News. In her new position, she is responsible for editorial content of the company's magazines and newsletters, along with integrating this content into broader Paperloop product offerings.
