
New speakers announced for RISI's North American Forest Products Conference program
BOSTON, MA, July 26, 2007 - RISI today announced the addition of several key speakers and panel members to the North American Forest Products Conference program.
The conference will be held in San Diego, California, on October 10-12, 2007 at the Omni San Diego Hotel.
The recently confirmed speakers include Mark Wilde, Managing Director, Deutsche Bank Securities, who will explore whether consolidation will pay off for the North American industry; Lynn Michaelis, Vice President, Markets and Economic Research, Weyerhaeuser who will discuss U.S. housing markets and Nick Vafiadis, Global Business Director, CMAI Global who will talk about paper versus plastics.
In addition, Mark Suwyn, Chairman/CEO, NewPage, will take part in a CEO panel discussion on Thursday, October 11. Other panelists are soon to be announced. Peter Nowack, Founding Partner, Nowack-Beer Consulting will moderate session two on the same day.
