Dates, locations set for RISI's spring 2008 pulp and paper conferences
Important 2008 Conference Date Changes!
PPI Market Pulp will now take place April 6-7, 2008. The RISI European Conference will be held April 7-9. Both events remain in Lisbon, Portugal.
BOSTON, MA, Oct. 29, 2007 - RISI today announced plans for their 2008 spring pulp and paper industry conferences in Europe and Asia, including a new location in Europe.
The 16th PPI Market Pulp Conference will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in Lisbon, Portugal on March 9-10, 2008. For the first time, the Market Pulp conference will include a special panel of the industry's leading forecasters and consultants, including Kurt Schaefer, Vice President of Fiber at RISI, Tom Wright, Director, Hawkins Wright and Timo Teras, Leading Advisor, Pöyry Forest Industry Consulting Oy.
The 10th European Pulp & Paper Outlook Conference will take place immediately following PPI Market Pulp from March 10 - 12, 2008 at the Sheraton in Lisbon. The 9th annual Asian Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference will occur June 2-4, 2008 at the Four Seasons hotel in Shanghai, China. Both Outlook Conferences feature regional and global industry forecasts presented by RISI economists, plus guest speakers from other leading organizations. Plus, for the first time, the European Conference will also include a CEO Panel where the region's leading executives will debate the most important issues facing the industry.
