New speakers and panelists join RISI's International Containerboard Conference

BOSTON, MA, Sept. 11, 2008 - Carol Roberts, Senior Vice President, Industrial Packaging, International Paper (IP), will deliver the keynote speech at the 13th International Containerboard Conference (ICC), RISI announced today. The event will take place on November 12-14, 2008 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile in Chicago.

Roberts became the senior manager responsible for the largest containerboard/corrugated box system in North America and globally, following IP's acquisition of Weyerhaeuser's containerboard and packaging assets in early August.

Other newly announced speakers include Glenn Landau, Vice President and General Manager, IP's Containerboard Business; Michael Harwood, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Pratt Industries (USA); William J. Sweeney, Executive Vice President, Packaging Corp. of America; Mark Weintraub, Senior Vice President, Buckingham Research; Bob Kinstrey, Director of Process Engineering, Jacobs Engineering; and Russ Swanson, Director of Paper Purchasing, Sara Lee.
