RISI announces additional high-level speakers for European and Asian Pulp and Paper Outlook conferences


BRUSSELS, 5 March 2009 - RISI today announced that several new speakers have been added to the conference programs of its industry-leading events in Europe and Asia.

Three new speakers will join the program of RISI's 11th European Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference to be held in Berlin, Germany, on March 29-31, 2009.

David Kern, Kern Consulting, Chief Economist, British Chambers of Commerce will be tackling the topic, "A View from Outside", while Dr. Aralynn Abare McMane, Ph.D., Director, Young Readership Development, World Association of Newspapers (WAN) is going to talk about "How the Newspaper Industry is Building for the Future". Ernst Brunbauer, General Manager, Lenzing Papier will participate in the interactive session on "Green Papermaking - Opportunity or Threat?"

Representatives from leading pulp and paper producers, financial institutions, suppliers and end-user companies will be attending the event in Berlin this month. RISI also announced that several key speakers will participate in the 10th Asian Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference in Shanghai, China, on June 8-10, 2009. Annie Zhu, Conference Chair and Editor of Pulp & Paper International (PPI) China magazine, commented, "I'm excited to welcome so many important speakers to the program again this year and I look forward to confirming more high-level representatives in the near future."
