BANGKOK, 24 June 2009 - The next edition of the Asian Paper event, the truly Pan-Asian meeting place for the pulp, paper and board business, is moving ahead smoothly with over 70% of the exhibition floor space already reserved by suppliers. All signs indicate that Asian Paper 2010, scheduled for 21-23 April 2010 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention & Exhibition Center in central Bangkok, will be a great success.

The most recent event, held in 2008, attracted over 5,000 visitors from 67 countries. The exhibition space was 20% larger than Asian Paper 2006 and included 212 exhibiting companies. The show floor was busy for most of the three days as business meetings and serious discussions between buyers and sellers were being held. At the same time the high-level Senior Management Symposium drew 150 attendees, while the New Applied Technology conference was attended by over 160 delegates.

Established in 1992, Asian Paper is one of the world's most complete events for the paper industry as it features top quality exhibitions covering New Production Technology; Paper Products and Office Supplies; combined with the high level Senior Management Symposium (SMS); and the innovative New Applied Technology Conference (NAT). The combination of these four parts of Asian Paper is a key to attracting so many visitors and delegates from all over Asia and, in fact, the world.

The theme of the Senior Management Symposium 2010 is "Taking Advantage of New Challenges and Opportunities", while for the New Applied Technology conference the theme for 2010 is "Getting the Most Out of Your Process and Operations".
