RISI's Latin American Conference assess the impact of the economic crisis on the region's pulp and paper sector

High-level industry players join the list of speakers for the São Paulo event

SÃO PAULO, August 18, 2009 - RISI today announced that a number of leading industry experts have joined the program of speakers at RISI's 4th Latin American Pulp and Paper Outlook Conference this year. The event will take place on November 15-17, 2009, in São Paulo, Brazil at the Renaissance hotel.

The theme of upcoming conference will be "The Effects of the Global Economic Crisis on the Latin American Pulp and Paper Market". Renata Mercante, Conference Chair and Editor of PPI Latin America said, "We are pleased to see so many industry leaders taking part in the conference program again. Conference attendees will also hear RISI's team of economists and engineers present their two- year forecasts for supply, demand, profitability, investment and trade for each major grade of pulp and paper.
