Shimadzu's Online TOC Analyzers Enable Easy, Efficient Management of Effluent Flow

Ideal for the management of wastewater treatment plant influent and effluent, drinking water supply management and monitoring of impurities in process and natural waters, Shimadzu's online TOC-4110 Series consists of three models used for measuring TOC, total nitrogen (TN), or the simultaneous measurement of both TOC and TN. These analyzers offer a wide measurement range and the ability to analyze up to six different streams, and feature a number of cost-reducing features and options.

The TOC-4110 Series features:

• The established 680°C catalyst-aided combustion and non-dispersive infrared detection methods
• Wide measurement range variable from 0-5ppm full scale to 0-1000ppm full scale; measurements up to 20000ppm are possible using the on-board dilution function
• Measurement mode selectable between TC/NPOC (standard), TOC=TC-IC (optional) or TOC=POC+NPOC
• User defined calibration check or re-calibration

The TOC-4110 Series features a number of capital and operational cost-reducing features, including:

• On-board air purifier - eliminates the need for expensive and dangerous gas cylinders and permits standard house air to be used as the carrier gas sample
• Optional "Sample Thief" - eliminates the need for expensive filters when analyzing streams containing suspended particles
• Proven combustion oxidation method - eliminates the need for chemicals and reduces maintenance requirements
