Boxboard market in Mexico to decline 10-15% this year



SAO PAULO , Nov. 6, 2009 (RISI) - Mexican boxboard figures for 2009 are expected to be 10-15% lower than 2008 reflecting the US and global economic crisis, PPI Latin America contacts said. According to the local Pulp and Paper Council, Mexican apparent boxboard consumption dropped 10.1% to 222,900 tonnes in the first half of 2009 from the year earlier.
