SAO PAULO , June 27, 2014 (RISI) -
Brazilian bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp exports hit 970,000 tonnes in May, a 13.3% increase over the same month of last year, according to the latest information released by the Brazilian tree industry (Ibá).
Pulp production including hardwood and softwood - also grew by 6.9% to 1.34 million tonnes in May 2014 over May 2013, the highest figure reached so far this year.
