Brazil’s Eldorado takes first downtime at 1.5 million tonnes/yr BEK mill



SAO PAULO , Feb. 7, 2014 (RISI) - 

Brazilian bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp producer Eldorado has completed 10 days of downtime at its 1.5 million tonnes/yr mill located in Três Lagoas city, Mato Grosso do Sul state. Production resumed Feb. 6.

The mill started up in December 2012 and the maintenance followed the usual schedule for pulp mills, including equipments check up, specific corrections and processes optimizations, the company said.
