SAO PAULO , June 11, 2014 (RISI) -
Brazilian boxboard producer Ibema on Jun. 11 informed the market that it will increase its prices from 6-8%, effective Aug. 1. The adjustments affect the company's duplex grades Ibema Supera and Impona, as well as the triplex product Speciala.
"The price increase follows the move taken by the boxboard industry, which feels the cost pressure coming from higher energy and other input prices. The last price adjustment carried out by Ibema occurred in Sept. 2013, when values were raised by 12%," the company stated.
