SAO PAULO , Jan. 27, 2012 (RISI) - Latest data from Chile's custom compiled by the local forestry assn Corporación Chilena de la Madera (Corma) show that the country's pulp and paper exports totaled $248.5 million in December, a reduction of 4.7% over the same month of 2010. In the period, its bleached eucalyptus kraft (BEK) pulp exports slumped 26.5% to $65.3 million while its bleached pine kraft (BPK) pulp deliveries abroad grew 20.5% to $105.3 million tonnes in the yearly basis.
