China’s Shandong Huatai halts production on 800,000 tonne/yr CFP PM due to mechanical failure



SHANGHAI , June 25, 2014 (RISI) - 

Shanghai Huatai Paper has halted production on an 800,000 tonne/yr coated fine paper (CFP) machine at its flagship mill in Dongying city, Shandong province, China, due to a mechanical failure.

Contacts reported that the PM suspended production earlier last week, but that the firm looks set to restart it soon.
