Chinese pulp imports fall 15.8% from January to February, with month-on-month BSK intake plunging 26.3%



SINGAPORE , April 1, 2014 (RISI) - 

China's total pulp imports dropped 15.8 % in February from January to 1.366 million tonnes, according to data from China Customs (see table below).

The decrease was ascribed to a month-over-month contraction of 26.3% in bleached softwood kraft (BSK) pulp imports, which came in at 450,970 tonnes in February.
