Consumption of pulp in Europe jumped in January while consumer inventories increased as well, according to the latest figures from UTIPULP.
European consumer pulp inventories rose by 2.4% month on month in January to 651,707 tonnes, while consumption grew by 16.0% to 980,595 tonnes, UTIPULP figures showed.
