BRUSSELS , Dec. 13, 2012 (RISI) -
The UK's DS Smith has signed an agreement to sell its corrugated packaging businesses in Darlington and Monmouth to the Rotherham-based Cepac and the Hong-Kong-based Tri-wall, respectively. The companies declined to disclose the amount of the transactions.
Both sales are still subject to the European Commission (EC)'s clearance, which is expected by early 2013.
