Georgia-Pacific (G-P) is the latest fluff producer to announce a price increase globally. G-P, the world's largest fluff producer, slated a $30/tonne increase effective April 1, industry contacts told RISI.
GP Cellulose, G-P's pulp division, informed customers that the hike would lift its fluff list price to $1,030/tonne in the USA and Europe. That's $30/tonne above its March list price, when the firm announced a $1,000/tonne level with a $20/tonne increase that was effective Mar. 1.
