LUXEMBOURG , May 30, 2014 (Press Release) -
Spain-based Lecta reported Q1 2014 revenues of Euro 382.9 million, down 9.0% from a year ago. The firm's EBITDA increased by 2.6% year-on-year to Euro 26.4 million in Q1 2014, mainly due to "lower sales of paper in volume, higher net energy costs, compensated by lower costs of packaging materials, outsourcing, distribution, selling variable, labor, maintenance, production consumables and administration overheads, in a context of slightly higher unit gross margin," the company said.
