Metsä Group has filed a complaint with the District Court of Helsinki demanding the Court of Arbitration decision ordering it to pay damages to UPM relating to a divestment of shares in Metsä Fibre be revoked, the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat reported.
A spokesperson for the court confirmed that such a complaint had been lodged, but said that the relevant files are not public yet. Metsä Group also confirmed that it had filed a complaint. A spokesperson for UPM said the company has not received any such documentation and that it thus has no official information about such a case.
