BRUSSELS , Aug. 20, 2013 (RISI) -
Norske Skog will resume production on the 150,000 tonne/yr newsprint unit PM 2 at its Skogn mill near Trondheim in Norway on August 26. The company temporarily idled the machine on June 23.
The firm has decided to restart PM 2 as the Norwegian krone has weakened, leading to improved profitability, and because of a good order situation.
