BEDFORD, MA , July 2, 2009 (Viewpoint) - Currency traders love exchange rate volatility. I'm not sure if anyone else does. The past year has been a wild ride to say the least thanks to the worst economic and financial crisis of the post-war period. If uncertainty is the mother of volatility, then there is little reason to suspect foreign exchange markets to settle anytime soon. That being said, a weakening US dollar trend has emerged recently as investors exit the safe haven of US dollar assets for riskier ones.
