SAN FRANCISCO , Dec. 21, 2012 (RISI) -
Sappi Fine Paper North American announced to domestic customers today that its northern bleached hardwood kraft (NBHK) market pulp prices would increase by $30/tonne, effective January 1, 2013 until further notice, industry contacts told RISI.
Sappi, which set $30/tonne price increases on three key grades of NBHK, will raise its US list price on aspen and mixed NBHK to $785/tonne, industry contacts said today. The firm's maple grade NBHK was slated at $795/tonne.
