BRUSSELS , Oct. 12, 2012 (RISI) -
Sweden's Processum Biorefinery Initiative has commissioned most of the pilot plants it has constructed in Umeå and Örnsköldsvik, on the east coast of Sweden.
Processum has invested SEK 10 million ($1.5 million) in 12 flexible pilot plants and inaugurated the first one, a reactor for cultivating lignocellulosic material, late last year. The others have been started up during the course of this year, with the exception of three, which will be brought online during November and December.
