BRUSSELS , Jan. 30, 2013 (RISI) -
The ownership change at Vida Paper has been postponed. The newly formed Lessebo Bruk was set to take over the bankrupt Swedish pulp and paper producer on February 1, but this has now been pushed back to February 18.
Vida Paper CEO Jan Fjeldså said this was done for practical and time reasons. "There are so many things to put in place. We're starting a new company and we need a different organization, contracts with suppliers and bank accounts so we can get paid," he said, adding: "We needed more time to do it, realistically. It was too tight."
