SAN FRANCISCO , Feb. 3, 2014 (RISI) -
US box plant containerboard inventories rose by 27,500 tons in December, the Fibre Box Assn reported, following completion of its annual yearend audit.
Combined with the earlier reported 6,500 ton decline in mill inventories, total inventories increased by 21,000 tons in December, "almost in line with the 16,000-ton 10-year average increase in mill and box plant inventories," noted Chip Dillon of Vertical Research Partners.
