US containerboard inventories drop 29,000 tons in February



SAN FRANCISCO , March 18, 2013 (RISI) - 

US containerboard inventories at box plants and mills declined by 29,000 tons in February though box shipments did not show much pickup in comparison with some indicators of the economy, according to the latest industry statistics released today.

The 29,000 ton-decline brought total containerboard inventories to 2.356 million tons and compares to an average seasonal decline of 15,000 tons for February over the past decade.
