SAN FRANCISCO , Feb. 1, 2013 (RISI) -
US containerboard inventories at box plants and mills rose 131,000 tons in December to end the year at 2.182 million tons, according to the latest industry statistics released today.
Box plant inventories jumped by 76,000 tons during the month, according Fibre Box Assn (FBA) statistics released today following an annual yearend audit. Earlier American Forest and Paper Assn (AF&PA) reported that mill inventories rose by 55,000 tons in December.
