Australian packaging giant Amcor has announced its intention to shut down its Petrie cartonboard mill in the state of Queensland.
The 140,000 tonne/yr duplex board mill, which can manufacture both grayback and whiteback qualities on its sole machine, is slated to cease production by the end of the year.
