Editorial Staff

John Parsons
John Parsons is the Editorial Director of The Seybold Report, He was a frequent contributor and Senior Editor for The Seybold Report from 1998 to 2002. He is a respected writer, editor and analyst in the printing and publishing fields. Prior to re-joining the Seybold team, he was Director of Marketing Communications for a leading proofing and workflow vendor. In addition, John has more than 30 years of hands-on experience dealing with technology issues covered in The Seybold Report.


Chuck Lenatti
Chuck Lenatti has been the editor of The Seybold Report since 2004. He has been writing and editing stories about technology, including desktop publishing and computer hardware and software, since the late 1980s. Prior to The Seybold Report, Chuck worked as an editor on many publications, including MacWEEK, Upside, BioWorld, Business 2.0 and Mbusiness. He has also written about technology for MIT's Technology Review and Alaska Airlines inflight magazine.


Editorial board - 2007

George Alexander was the Executive Editor for The Seybold Report until 2004, when he became the Director of Content and Community for Caslon & Company, the company that manages PODi, a not-for-profit industry consortium of vendor companies formed to foster the growth of the digital printing industry.

Stephen Edwards was a principal Seybold writer and Editor for more than 27 years. He served as Editor-in-Chief of The Seybold Report, and its predecessor, The Seybold Report on Publishing Systems. Steve received the McMillan Award for Editorial Excellence in 2000.

Mark Walter has more than 20 years of experience working with publishers and service providers. Before becoming Business Development Director for Managing Editor Inc, Mark was a Senior Editor for The Seybold Report, and Editor-in-Chief of The Seybold Report on Internet Publishing.

Frank Romano, Professor Emeritus at Rochester Institute of Technology, is arguably one of the best-known industry gurus for print-related businesses and technology. He has founded eight publications, authored 44 books and countless articles - both humorous and insightful - on the art and science of visual communication.

Andy Tribute was a frequent contributor, and International Editor, of The Seybold Report. He is the Managing Partner of Attributes Associates, an internationally oriented consulting company specializing in marketing and technology issues for the printing, publishing and media markets.
