Kimberly-Clark contingency plan helps firm weather global disasters [From the web]

WASHINGTON, DC, Jan. 31, 2012 (Dallas Morning News) - Kimberly-Clark Corp. of Irving saw one of its plants in Bangkok flooded last year. Another in Bahrain was disrupted by the Arab Spring demonstrations.

Stratfor.com, an Austin-based intelligence and analysis firm, was attacked in December by Internet hackers.

Kimberly-Clark managed to keep its customers supplied with the tissue and diapers made at the stricken plants. Stratfor went down for more than two weeks, depriving hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
