Noss to supply pulp machine approach flow system to Schweighofer Fiber in Austria

NORRKOPING, Sweden, Jan. 25, 2012 (Press Release) - Noss AB, Norrköping, Sweden, has received an order for a pulp machine approach flow system from Schweighofer Fiber GmbH, Hallein, Austria.

Schweighofer intends to enhance their product portfolio from standard paper pulp to speciality pulp grades at Hallein. Noss AB will deliver a RADICLONE cleaner system to the mill. The rebuild is scheduled for summer this year, start-up is pencilled in for September 2012. The capacity will be 420 BDTPD to start with, with a possibility to expand to 500 BDTPD.

The Noss delivery includes a 6-stage RADICLONE AM80 forward cleaner system followed by a RADICLONE BM80 reversed cleaner for thickening of the pulp. The accept from the RADICLONE BM80 goes directly to the headbox.
