BTG launches new creping doctor blade for chipping-prone applications in tissue making

ECLEPENS, Switzerland, Dec. 15, 2009 (Press Release) - In keeping with our strategy to constantly develop products that help raising productivity and cutting costs, on December 15^th, we launched a new blade for the Tissue segment, Duroblade^®-Velvet^TM.

The development of this blade was based on the aim to enhance tissue softness while reducing the amount of furnish, leading to cost savings on raw materials.
