Cascades Djupafors wins Swedish environmental impact award


   

PARIS, April 14, 2008 (Press Release) - Cascades Djupafors, the board producer of virgin fibres has been awarded by the Swedish Environmental Management Council for its successful outcome to reduce the environmental impact. This prize was handed over in person by the Swedish crown Princess Victoria on March 13th.

Cascades Djupafors is world-wide the only board mill to provide a third party evaluated climate declaration based on CO2 (EPD Environmental Product Declaration). The mill has been awarded for the great efforts to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide, energy savings and lowering water consumption and also for its work to deliver environmentally compatible products.

Cascades Djupafors pronounces its desire to improve once more its environmental programme and contributes to influence other companies in the same direction.
