Imerys increases GCC prices in North America


   

ATLANTA, GA, June 06, 2008 (Press Release) - Imerys Pigments for Paper North America raises ground calcium carbonate (GCC) prices by 10 % for its pigments for paper products, effective immediately.

Significant escalation of chemicals, fuel, power and mining costs are key drivers for the announced price increases. Despite Imerys' continual investment to mitigate these effects, price increases are necessary to offset unprecedented cost inflation.
