Metso to supply automation to Tralin Paper Mill in China


   

BRUSSELS, June 25, 2008 (Press Release) - Shandong Tralin Paper Mill has selected Metso Automation to supply automation solution for the new fine paper machine, which is a second-hand machine bought from USA. The order includes metsoDNA CR automation system, replacement of the existing quality control system (QCS) by PaperIQ, machine direction and cross direction (MD/CD) controls and KajaaniRM3 wet end management application.

Metso Automation will provide a state-of-the-art solution for the total process and quality control management. The delivery is scheduled for November 2008 and start-up for February 2009. This is the first Metso Automation process automation solution to Tralin Paper.

Shandong Tralin Paper Mill is one of the major fine paper and folding board (FBB) manufacturer in Shandong, China. Tralin Paper Mill's total paper and board annual production capacity is 600,000 tons and pulp production 300,000 tons.
