Pöyry to provide engineering services for Mondi Syktyvkar rebuild in Russia


   

VANTAA, Finland, April 09, 2008 (Press Release) - Pöyry has been commissioned to provide engineering services for the rebuild of Mondi's Syktyvkar pulp mill in Russia. The total value of the assignment exceeds Euro 10 million.

The services incorporate detail engineering for mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines extended over the whole pulp mill. The work will be performed by Poyry's Finnish and Russian experts.

Mondi Syktyvkar is in the process of modernizing and expanding its pulp and paper mill in Komi Republic in Russia. When completed in 2010 the mill will be equipped for an annual production of 940,000 tonnes of paper and board.
