ECLÉPENS, Switzerland, March 26, 2008 (Press Release) - In-depth process- and customer knowledge is the common denominator for the two divisions of BTG Group; Duroblade and Instruments. We are devoted to developing innovative, cost-effective ways of improving the productivity of the pulp and paper industry, the process and the profitability. We continue to pioneer advanced technologies for the industry, including Duroblade metering and doctoring blades, IPI Durorod size press and metering rods, rod beds, couplings and headbox sheets. We also offer a full range of sophisticated process sensors and analyzers based on the latest advances in process analysis, such as consistency and brightness transmitters or charge and retention analyzers, to name but a few. A range of very reliable lab instruments completes our portfolio.
BTG's commitment to finding new solutions to new market challenges has made us the standard-setter in advanced papermaking systems worldwide.

Instruments
At this year's exhibition, we present the TwinTorque MEK-3000 which is not only a consistency transmitter featuring a revolutionary new technology, but also the first transmitter in line with the new generation of easier, smaller, smarter, lighter BTG instruments. We are also showing our brightness transmitter BT-UV which has the unique capability to measure the fluorescence from optical brighteners in addition to the traditional parameters brightness, color and ERIC. The complete range of our Mütek lab products will be on display including the new standard for lab charge measurement, the PCD-04 Travel, and the brand new software ChargeView that - amongst other features - comfortably generates a charge data base, compiles PCD-04 and SZP-06 measurements, shows cationic demand versus zeta potential. Please also visit booth No. A21:50 for our complete range of Mütek lab instruments.
