Arkema increases hydrogen peroxide prices in Europe

COLOMBES, France, June 12, 2008 (Press Release) - Arkema will increase prices of Hydrogen Peroxide in Europe by 15%, effective July 1st, 2008.

Price increases are necessary to partly offset the sharp rise in energy costs, which have reached unprecedented levels, as well as the increases in logistic and raw material costs.

These increases are also required to provide support for a safe and reliable supply to the Hydrogen Peroxide European market.

Arkema is among the leading H2O2 producers, with a 400kt capacity and plants in Asia, Europe and North America.
