(Press Release) -
The latest Autoplaten® product from Bobst is the VISIONCUT, an extremely cost-effective flatbed diecutter for corrugated board. Designed to deliver quality diecutting for products ranging from nanoflute & microflute up to double wall, the VISIONCUT is also ideal for litho-laminated sheets.
A number of features contribute to making the Bobst VISIONCUT the new leader in in its category of flat-bed diecutting. To begin, it is a highly price-competitive machine which achieves production speeds of 4,800 sheets per hour. The VISIONCUT's newly designed ergonomics make it possible to complete job change-overs in less than 10 minutes. And the VISIONCUT's specially robust construction ensures maximum uptime and provides precise cut-to-print register, which can be further enhanced when equipped with the Power Register system. The design of Bobst corrugated diecutters has been extensively rethought and this new line benefits from developments made when the company's "Next Generation" machines were introduced in 2008.
The VISIONCUT has been conceived to adapt to the most varied needs of its users. Whether it is a question of the materials to be handled, or the budget for the machine, one of its three versions will fit the brief. In its base configuration, VISIONCUT converts regular corrugated, F-flute, and double-wall. Beyond this, a version equipped with the new Smart Register, which, using a camera on the underside of the sheet, reads the sheet edge or print marks, and delivers longitudinal correction, bringing dynamic register technology to users at an attractive price. The third version, and the most technologically advanced, offers all the dynamic location possibilities offered from Bobst's Power Register system. In addition to the advantages already mentioned, this version delivers the correction of transverse register and skewing, achieved using a top reading camera.
The materials that can be converted range from microflute to double-wall corrugated (0.75mm to 9mm), along with litholaminates, and can be up to a maximum sheet format of 63 x 43" (1,600x1,100mm). As well as being capable of delivering bundles of up to 83⁄4" (200mm) in height, an alternative solution sees pile delivery of up to 47" (1,200 mm) in height, inside the machine delivery station. This solution is ideal for users who want to form a pile directly inside the delivery station to save on floor space.
The VISIONCUT platen press represents the best of Swiss Technology, a label to which Bobst has been faithful for decades with its professionalism, its continuous research and development, and its determination to produce machines that are precise, reliable, and of incomparable durability. Over the long term, Bobst products are proven to be an unbeatable investment.
