Bobst sells Atlas Converting Equipment in the UK to management

LAUSANNE and PRILLY, Switzerland, Oct. 26, 2010 (Press Release) - Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd in Bedford/UK was taken over by its top management who will continue to run the business in the future. This divestment corresponds to an annual turnover of around CHF 50 million and will have no material impact on the future Group results. Both parties agree not to disclose any information concerning the conditions of the transaction.

Atlas Converting Equipment Ltd in Bedford/UK with its brands ATLAS and TITAN supplies primary and secondary slitter products as well as high performance slitter rewinders. The brand products ATLAS and TITAN are not commonly used by the traditional Bobst Group customers active in the flexible packaging manufacturing, and the resulting low synergy level has motivated the decision to sell the company.
